Cookbooks are HERE!!

The cookbooks are here and I am working on getting them packaged and ready to be sent out this Friday.  However, we do have about 25 extra right now that are up for sale.  If you get your order in soon, you could still receive your cookbooks by Christmas - and they will make a fantastic Christmas gift!!  Here are a few previews...

He's Here!!

After twelve weeks of waiting, and lots of ups and downs, our sweet baby boy is here!!  Born at 8:55pm on 11/9/10 at 7lbs 4 oz and 20" long, our sweet Bug came into our arms about an hour and a half later - and hasn't left since!!

I know its taken quite a while to get the finished pictures up, but here are the pictures of the boys' bedroom and playroom.

We are very happy with the way they turned out, but have had our painting fill for a while!

We did it!

So sorry for the delay in updating - we've had a sick boy around here for a few days, but thankfully he is much better now!  We did make it to 100 and we actually ordered a few extra books for anyone wanting last minute orders.  The order is in, and we are expecting them in about 2 weeks before Christmas.  We cannot begin to express our thankfulness and appreciation to each and every person who has helped us!  As for the total funds for adopting - we still have a long way to go, but we now have a good start. Thank you again!

We have been working on the boys' room and are starting a list for the things we want to get done before the new baby gets here - 4 weeks from tomorrow!  Here are a few teasers for the boys' room....what we started with and us trying to figure out what paint we want.

I'll try to get better at updating on a more regular basis, but we'll see what happens!

94!!!

God is SOOO amazing!!!  We went from 23 orders yesterday morning to 94 today!!  PRAISE GOD!!

Not giving up!

We are trusting God and not giving up that this will work out.  We currently have 41 paid pre-orders, and one day left to get up to 100.  We are working on alternative ideas if we do not hit the 100 mark so that everyone will get their cookbooks in time for Christmas (they just may look a little different)!

As for the nursery, we did put some paint samples on the walls, but decided they were not right.  Back to the drawing board paint store.  We are hoping to get a good start this weekend since we are less than 5 weeks away from the due date.  I'll try to get some pictures up once it is done!

Thanks again to each and every one of you who is helping us bring our baby boy home!  And a huge, special thank you to a very good friend who has pulled in about 1/3 of the orders so far!! :)

God is Great

We are up to 23 orders!!  Only 77 more to go in 3 days - and we know that we can get there because God is great!

We were not able to get to the nursery this weekend, but we did get a few paint samples.  The hope is to start taping off through the week and be ready to go once we have time and finalize the exact colors.  I did spend the evening yesterday going through clothes and pulling out the next size/season's wardrobe out for our older son.  Pretty soon, I'll be pulling out all the newborn clothes again and getting them ready for the new baby - only 5 more weeks from tomorrow!  OK - now I'm going to start sorting through a big container of socks to pull out the smaller ones for Baby Boy #2.
